Casco’s “Countdown to Zero” Program was developed in 2008 and has been a proven method to ensure a final zero punch for our clients. This incentive-based program rewards our project teams for turning over a perfect project with zero items on the final punch list. Since its inception, almost 70% of our projects have achieved a Zero Punch, allowing our clients to get their businesses up and running faster. Combined with Casco’s use of innovate and industry-changing technology, customer satisfaction has continued to grow and help generate over 90% of repeat customers.
What exactly is a “punch list”?
A punch list is a document prepared near the end of a construction project listing work not conforming to contract specifications that the contractor must complete prior to final payment. The work may include incomplete or incorrect installations or incidental damage to existing finishes, material, and structures.
This is usually completed just before the final client turnover, so it is key that all items are corrected or completed. This may include paint touch-ups, lighting, and even furniture placement.
Why is ZERO PUNCH so important?
Any item that is discovered and placed on the punch list must be corrected before the client moves into their space. Correcting larger items can result in serious delays and frustration for all involved. At Casco, but working to eliminate any punch items, we strive to get our client in their new space on time, every time.
